Parents

Parents are encouraged to participate in many aspects of school life. In collaboration with the teachers, many parents contribute a wide range of expertise which adds enormous richness to the quality of the curriculum.

Termly Open Forum discussions between trustees, governors, staff and parents allow parents' opinions to be heard and acted upon. A formal parent group meets regularly to discuss a range of fundraising events including the Winter and Summer Fairs, increasingly popular events that raise funds for special projects.
All parents are given the opportunity to attend Parent Effectiveness Training workshops, with places subsidised by the school.
From September 2009 a Helping Hand Fund will be available for parents that may need some assistance with the school fees during these challenging times.
